I need to replace the set of tyres on my car soon. I would love to be able to choose the size, then get a list of brands and prices like in the UK, unfortunately it does not exist in South Africa yet. It's such a pain to have call every tyre retailer out there & then ask for every tyre brand they have and then write down a hundred different prices.

Does anyone which of these tyre dealers would be cheaper? Any good or bad experiences? Thanks in advance.
Tiger Wheels
Autoquip
Dunlop
Best Drive
Supa Quick
Hi-Q
Kwik-Fit

Which tyres should I get? Any positive or negative feedback's welcome, Thanks in advance.

Continental Premium Contact 5
Michelin Energy Saver +
Goodyear EfficientGrip Compact
Pirelli P1 Cinturato or (Verde)
Dunlop Street Response 2
Hankook Kinergy (Eco) K425
Falken Ziex ZE914 Ecorun

Can't go wrong with any of them.

The Ziex ZE914 Ecorun will be the cheapest out of the lot and Kinergy (Eco) K425 will be second cheapest. Energy Saver + will be the most expensive one.

Minty's. They beat any quote, even some "verbal" ones.
Minty's is not available in my town, branches only in Gauteng. Unless I have to travel to 350 km to get there.

Agree on Mintys. They're the cheapest when you phone around.
Try Tyres 2000 as well.
Tyres 2000 also not available in my town, mostly in Gauteng and KZN.

Thanks guys for responding.

I'm getting mixed reviews and responses, not enough feedback. I think I'm going for Continental Premium Contact 5 at Tiger Wheels. They Premium Contact 5 seemed decent and Tiger Wheels was voted best cosumer choice at some newspaper I read, not sure if they are any cheaper.
