Cool Ideas.

For the excellent support I have received from them and that for the first time I do not have to worry about caps, FUPs, etc.

We use Axxess 10Mbps ADSL line and data bundled. Axxess, because MWEB started throttling me (back in the day when I used to push around 600GB a month on a 4Mb line. Axxess was recommended by a colleauge, I tried them out, not a single day of regret, 6 years later and still going strong.

10Mbps ADSL because there isn't ftth available where I live, and 10Mbps because that's the fastest speed in my area.

We want to find out which ISPs MyBroadband’s forum members use at home, and why they selected this ISP.
  1. Please vote in the poll about which ISP you use at home.
  2. Please tell us why you selected this ISP.
Your feedback is really valuable to us.
I use Rocketnet as my ISP provider - for some reason they are never one of the options to choose. Vumatel is the fibre connection provider and between the two I have excellent service. I have a 100MBps uncapped line.

It was a good deal at the time but its not anymore and Telkom wont assist my Mom in changing it, useless lot.

This IS NOT a vote for Telkom Internet.

I have Telkom LTE Uncapped. It's dirt cheap compare to any other service available (R540), but service has gotten pretty bad. Especially since it's now out of contract.

Would move to fibre and any other ISP if it were available.

Telkom was the cheapest for uncapped LTE and generally my experience with them has been good

For me it's simple

Afrihost
100Gb+(100Gb free per month)
VDSL @ 20 Mbps. MORE than enough for even the high end user.

Fibre is almost like having an Iphone...it's mostly for status. What on earth anyone would need such high speeds boggles my mind. Totally overkill.

Afrihost - Great self-help portal, dependable service and wide range of products (use them for my cellphone voice & data too) all managed in one app.

Same here. From managing my ADSL line to data, airtime and mobile data. All in one. Works like a charm for me

I use Telkom, because it is the best of the three I have tried.

Uncapped 2Meg down through a local WISP (Sonic WiFI). Excellent value and service

Selected Telkom because they are my ADSL line provider and I don't want the Provider and the ISP blaming the other for a fault.

Afrihost - they offered a great RAIN FIXED LTE speacial when I signed up, which gives double the data.
