I saw this at UltraLiquors it says blended malt so somewhat interesting. How was it?

Van Ryn is also the bottling facility as far as I know. I suspect this might be for Bottega so will probably be an interesting cask selected.

The 10 years Three Ships with the JSD voucher bought.

I will take my buddy along, we must just sort out a driver or is the tasting not too much?

Take a driver to be safe. They are very generous with their tastings and both times I've been, they've pulled out extra things for us to taste.

Don't bother with the train.

Yep, my daughter in Glasgow has just ordered one for me but she's not coming over until Easter :(

Shame they never made a limited number available here. I wonder what the reasoning is?

Was made for the export market. It is 700ml. Not allowed to sell 700ml bottles in SA.

No sure, but I'm wondering what was the commercial decision not to make some available on the local market (in a 750ml).

But yeah, it shows available if I have delivery address set to my daughter in the UK, change it to my SA address and it shows out of stock. But they will be available form a few more stockists in the UK and Europe so maybe a chance to get one if you are inclined to have it shipped.

Because as I was told, people will make a plan to get it either way whether online or through relatives.
The hunt is part of the challenge :)

Yes confirmed. Amazon is UK only. Others that will stock it are:
- Master Of Malt
- House of Malt
- Drink Supermarket
- Hard To Find Whisky

The James Sedgwick Distillery wants to strengthen its presence in UK and Europe as well as thank that market for their support.

A release just for them will certainly do that. We get ALL the other releases locally, which they don't get.

It will be easy buying bottles and bringing it in.
