WB order. My first Highland Park. It was a good combo deal.

And the Cachaca! I don't see it in the shops anymore, and a caipirinha is one of my favourite summer drinks.

The HP 10 and 12 are not my favorites unfortunately. Very "spirity" and thin. I love the 18yo though....and some of their special releases as well.

Let us know what you think.

What are the opinions on the Three Ships Shiraz Finish, really still want to order a bottle but R900 is quite a lot at the moment

This is probably a total noob question but do you guys store your whisk(e)y in the boxes they came in or toss the box once opened?

Picked up my order just now

WTF?
No gift box even?
/Complains.

You were warned there's no box/tubes.

We can't really complain honestly. Only 546 bottles, cask strength, a PX cask (expensive cask), it's actually a great price.... Even without a box. What would u think a scotch with that pedigree cost?

Didn't even notice that to be honest.
Cannot buy anything else at 63.7% for the price.

No this is very reasonable to ask. It's up to you if you keep the boxes. If you are collecting to resell then the box is part of the value. If you are drinking then it's your choice. Some boxes are nice to look at, some people like the extra step of taking the whisky out of the gift tin.

The only rules for storing whisky are; not on its side (you could 'cork' it and away from sunlight.

I would keep the boxes if I had enough space.
