:sick::sick:just pay R50 for Uigea

To be fair, it is sold by a third party but Takealot do hike prices up so they can shunt them down and claim a ridiculous "sale" price. I guess it's still better than NetFlorist peddling Johnnie Red for R500+

WTF is wrong with Takealot sometimes....

I think this is other retailers selling through Takealot, taking advantage of unsuspecting customers looking for gifts...

I really think there should be a limit on how much over RRP takealot should be able to list something.

That said wouldn't be surprised to see daily deal Ardbeg 10 R699 40% OFF!

Yeah those netflorist things...buy a whisky, a box and a chocolate and pay for 3x what's in the box. xD

This week's new purchases came in yesterday.

I've just tried the Uigea and it really does live up to the hype. Honestly, it's night and day between it and the Ardbeg 10 thanks to that sherry influence smoothing out the corners. You still get that smoked brisket on the nose but it feels like a braai, this time, and not the result of an out of control, township paraffin fire.

Those are some great choices there, every single one a stunning whisky. Now to find an easy affordable drinker. What's that going to be, three ships 5 or Naked grouse (considering your sherry love)?

Thanks!

I really disliked the Famous Grouse because of its orange zest taste but I'll keep an eye out. Three Ships range is already on the to-buy list considering the stunner that the Whisky Brother release is.

Honestly, my guilty pleasure is Jim Beam and Coke but I barely drink (2 or 3 times a week) so I guess I can keep up with the "less affordable" for now.

Makro does home delivery on alcohol for R50 - so you're paying R100 less than NGF.

Or order some other stuff for free shipping
