Got an e-mail from Wine of the Month. They have a few new bottles in, the ones I can't see elsewhere are:

AMRUT BAGHEERA GIFT BOX 2 GLASSES MADE IN INDIA @ R 1450
Glendalough Triple Barrel Irish Whiskey @ R 715.22

Just a heads up, if you're interested.

Are they the same as the "old" Bottleshop now? I think so..

I any case that Amrut is not showing on there. :unsure:

They are - I've bought from both without issue (I picked up the Douglas Laing stuff) so it seems they're OK again.

I think they sent it out to current customers only, so I passed the message along. Not sure if they're keen on that but a sale is a sale, right?

Yep I have also bought off of the "new" Bottleshop recently and no issues. I sent Grant an email...tx man.

I got to sample this tonight thanks to a fellow Cape Whisky Club member. It is excellent and I am on the lookout for one at reasonable pricing.

Got "rid" of some very low bottles recently: by drinking and decanting some samples.

Now I also have more space for soon to arrive new stuff.

And last, but by no means least...another addition to my growing Kilkerran collection. I have 2 very special bottles still on their way. Cannot wait. Definitely having a Kilkerran tasting evening soon and will DM those that are within Uber distance...you should know by now who you are!

I'm curious. How much are you guys spending on whiskey every month? And how do you justify it, does some go into the investment bucket and if so have any of you actually any money of your investments?
