Why do people hate Blackberry Users?

Sure most iphone users are pulled in via groupthink and apple worship, but this doesnt make up all users.

Everyone knows there is nothing advanced about a blackberry, really there isnt. The iphone bit I have a problem with. I own an android and an iphone and I have to say that the iphone is substantially faster than the android despite the android having a 800mhz proc and the iphone having a 600mhz.
Strangely I find myself using the iphone more often because even applications that are found on both phones are just better written on the iphone.
Now dont get me wrong, I have used a blackberry for a day or two and hated everything about it.

There is quite a difference between way more than 6 hours and 44 hours (36 +8). :) A friend of mine who I share an office with charges his phone daily and sometimes twice a day. I can't handle terrible battery life, it really gets to me. 2 days with lots of use I can still do but less I would not be to happy about.

Just has the iphone is "the must have" phone now, that title used to belong to blackberrys at one time nearly everybody wanted to get a BB

Actaully thats now.... SA has the fastest growing BB market in the world. The BB is way more accessable then the iPone in SA (thanks to Vodacom being idiots).

It may be different elsewhere in the world but in SA Blackberry is the way to go.
 
Ok. So from this thread, I think it is fair to conclude. We hate BB users because they are Wan kers..
 
Recently got my first BB, my cellphone bill has dropped around R450 - R550 a month.
Thats R450 more drinking money i have.
 
I enjoy my blackberry. BBM for other BB users and Gtalk for everyone else. Facebook, email ( x 5 ) , rss , tabbed browsing , integrated intranet authentication, it is a great corporate phone. For personal, I might swing android depending but never iphone.

My android lasts between 4 and 5 days at a charge. The wifi is permanently on and its always checking for updates on status etc.

ey? the only reason there is any following on BB other than for business users is the "unlimited internets" and the fact that mobile data costs so much here.
Are you under the impression that you can only get an iphone from vodacom? mtn does them too and there is a worldwide shortage of them.
So for android wins, iphone is acceptable as an alternative and bb is .. er.. placed 4th after a 3310. :p

iPhoney is usless unless you get access to all the features that they have in America also its double the price of an average BB.
There is a worldwide shortage bacause people keep having to return them, despite this people still purchase a phone that they know has issues.... serious issues.
Android does seem cool, however i'd like to see Android on a really good phone. Samsung is not a good phone.
 
BlackBerry users are hated because they are smarter, more productive, and have more money (from data bill savings) to buy other cool stuff.
 
Blackberry users have their phonez ping, pong & pang all day long in the office which is irritating. Also the ex has a phone with a phucking blinkling light! WTF .. as if being reachable 24/7 and being dinged every time there's a message isn't enough this thing constantly reminds you from the corner of your eye .. Yoohoo!! ... I'm still here .. you haven't touched me in about 2 minutes .. do you wanna touch me again .. I'm sure you do .. oh come-on, touch me .. wait wait there's a message coming through .. beep .. wait also gotta flash that led thingy faster now .. another beep .. sure you don't wanna rub my little knobbie thingy again .. ok, last chance .. etc. Attention seeking phones like a pregnant cat rubbing itself against your legs. Ugh.
