I have RST installed but I don't know what this all means.

Click on PERFORMANCE ....

Then there should be an option to ENABLE acceleration

This will make the SSD and HDD act as ONE drive

Yes, you need to initalise the drive, that SSD is installed but not used for anything.

Best is to just buy a 256GB from matrix and reinstall windows on it.

Yes, you can. It's really easy and there should be videos on how to do it everywhere on the internet.

You want a SATA SSD (NOT NVMe).

Since you are new at this, make sure you unplug all other harddrives while formatting and installing windows. You wouldn't want to accidentally wipe the wrong one.

Because both your drive are there and working, but you cant use that small 16GB as a boot drive.

You can however follow that video IF you get a bigger SATA SSD

Just backup whatever documents and pictures and whatever you want to keep before hand.

He say's it's better to do it from scratch.
First download all the drivers and keep it on a flash just in case.
