Windows 7 RC completed, build 7100

Route Sentry is an important one for me aswell... Can anyone confirm if it works under Windows 7?

Did it work on Vista? Because if not then I doubt anything would have changed to make it work on under 7. RASPPPOE will still not work on 7.

I suppose the XP virtual box feature (see the thread a bit below this one) might not help either as your networking would still go through 7. But maybe that helps?

Thats one of the reasons why I stayed with Windows XP...

But I do know that there was a work-around for Windows VISTA not using RASPPPOE...

Build 7100 is absolutely astoundingly amazing! I had build 7022 before this one and was blown away by it.... now, Its got even BETTER! WOW!

Well I'm forced to download at half-speed from a ZA location. 1day and 7 hours remaining

RASPPPOE refuses to work on Windows 7 for me, well the first beta anyways... I just get bluescreen after bluescreen

When using Vista do this:

Create PPPOE with username and password.
On the IPv4 settings tab, go to the 'Advanced settings' screen and on the 'IP Settings' tab uncheck the 'Use default gateway on remote network' box.

Works fine for me. (I'm using Vista x64)

It's got a few hours left of downloading (about 7... 384k)

I can confirm that build 7100 is the real RC.

Just installed it today and it is working flawlessly. Only took about 7 minutes to install on a freshly-formatted drive.

I've heard that RouteSentry works on Win7 but I will not be able to test it. I cannot get my router into bridged mode and when I try dial a connection, it doesn't even dial. Will keep working on it.
