Windows 7 RC completed, build 7100

About 470 Megs left to download. Lets hope it's finished by 7:30

My only problem is that I have to pack the PC up at 7:30 and my current download speed is 2.4KB/s and upload is roughly twice that or more.

Currently installing it onto the Laptop. If it runs correctly then I will start the process of installing it onto the main PC.

Not upgrading anymore but clean and full install. Takes a couple of days

Howzit Lino :). Typing this message on 7100 and man it's lekker. I'm gonna stick with Win 7 on laptop and vista on main pc until the RTM.
 
Will do, so far running on the laptop perfectly no problems at all. Busy getting my main PC ready, backing up and moving files around hard disks. Hell of a story to do a clean install again.

I'll give a better opinion when installed on main PC
 
Almost finished downloading! I will be able to send copies to people tomorrow afternoon! You happy with that?
 
If anyone wants a copy PM me your address. As with the last time I will cover the postage fee as transferring R11.50 or whatever the ammount was is just silly. Will send regular snail mail from Cape Town, I have 32 and 64 bit version coming down as we speak.
 
Could somone possibly point me in the direction of a local 32 bit version to dl from pretty please? :D
 
If anyone is in teh midrand area I can bring it for you - just bring a HDD as Ill put it on my laptop then (ISO).

Installed on the laptop and runs smoothly, should have it installed on the main PC by this evening.
