Moving forward, I can probably see myself wearing a mask whenever I go to the shops. It really doesn't bother me and I suppose it has some value when around complete strangers in an environment where you likely have aircon circulating the air you breath.

No. Although I think most stores will keep it as a requirement. I already only wear on when absolutely necessary.

It can help a lot.
like I said earlier, in Asian Countries pre-Pandemic, people wore masks to protect themselves from smog/pollution/smoke,
but it was a choice, you decided yourself.

nowadays, with forcing everybody to wear a nose diaper, knowing full well they are negative for Covid, is just unnecessary.
its like others here have said, its uncomfortable, annoying and unnecessary, as with all the precautions that have been going on for more than a year,

Covid is still spreading, despite everything people are throwing at it.

and if you say okay its protect you from others,
then why wasn't wearing masks a common thing for people with the regular flu?

only time people wore masks pre-pandemic is inside a sterile place like a hospital, where it would make sense.
but in regular life? people dislike wearing it and its a hard thing to convince people its worthwhile.

I've come this far without getting COVID so I am not going to let my guard down now. Mandatory or not. Also carry my own sanitiser.

Also, I didn't get sick this past year which is awesome. No colds or flu, has to be related to the change in behaviour because I normally get something every year.
Weird that you think this is down to mask wearing.

I'll continue wearing it in very high-traffic places like Airports and things where people from a lot of difference places come. And of course if its law.

But in general once we "stand down" the pandemic i'm not gonna be wearing it much.

Sanitizing i'll still do though but that i was doing long before COVID.

Well I am not an expert. All I know is that I never wore a mask and sanitised and I caught something every year. I start wearing a mask and sanitising and I don't get sick. It could be a complete coincidence but either way I am willing to give it a bash this year again and see how it goes. Is there something wrong with that?

I agree with that, you can't breathe in germs droplets with a mask - its science.
Do you know what happens to those germ droplets?
Of course you do. They... drop. To the floor. Rather quickly.

And get through the gaps on all amateur masks.
And also through gaps in most professional masks.

So actually it's politic-science.

Why was the Queen, who is comprehensibly vaccinated against covid, made, through UK Government policy & regulation, to sit alone with a mask at the funeral of her late husband?

'Cos she must set the political example.

I think under certain conditions, yes.

I don't think the masks will go away for places like airports. Even when it does what will happen is they will have a supply of masks for when things get scary.
Also if you cough on a plane from now on they will chuck a mask on you.

Never mind the not going in to work and breathing in everyone else's germs like normal?

Pretty much.
