My problem is I need to (eventually) upgrade from the old trusty Xbox One to join in
Funds are tight and I'm hoping I can find a decent 2nd hand Series X online. Keeping them eyes peeled on Marketplace, Gumtree & Carbonite.

KBM for Diablo - I preferred a controller for the playthrough of the entire Gears of War series.

Diablo isn't very dependent on aim though.
Some are more partial towards controllers for shooters, myself included. It feels more fun and engaging, and less like work.
Of course you could always get a controller and play on PC. Then it becomes a choice between couch or desk...

The Xbox 360 Store Will Close July 2024, But You Can Keep Playing Your Favorite Games
On July 29, 2024, Xbox will stop supporting the ability to purchase new games, DLC, and other entertainment content from the Xbox 360 Store on the console and the Xbox 360 Marketplace. This change will not affect your ability to play Xbox 360 games or DLC you have already purchased.

Pretty sure they tried already but kept it open due to backlash. Maybe MS will do the same

For me, Sony shutdown is more painful as my digital library did not transfer to PS5 so can understand the backlash. With back compat on Xbox, loads of my games did transfer and without the need to re-purchase so, I doubt there gonna be backlash. <- That is where my concern lie, that Sony gonna use 360 and even Nintendo's Wii shop close as an excuse to go "But look they did it."
