Last time I tried this they actually blocked me saying the code is not for the account region even after changing my account region to India and using a VPN.

I could only do this trick with a newly signed up account that is India from the start.

They may have closed the India loophole. There's a process I used before to get it to work, posted it somewhere here. Think you need to get onto the vpn before changing region, or something to that effect.

And not all VPNs work either, I could only get it to work using vpn.lat.

When the time comes I'll create a new account and test a one year sub...
 
It's still relatively "affordable" for us. In the states it's the equivalent of R520 pm. At R6k a year you could buy 5 games and own it forever...
 
I hopped on to go and cancel, ended up looking at the updated GP catalogue, AND, queuing for download:
Hogwarts legacy
Ghost recon breakpoint
Prince of Persia the lost crown

I really want to play Ninja Gaiden 4 as well this month, outer world's 2 is releasing this month as well.

I'll most probably be jumping between Ultimate and Premium as games move between the tiers and what I want to play and actually finish.

ill cancel after those games ok

I'll probably stick to R199 as it still has the games I care about. It's not like I play day one anywaay.
 
Downgraded to Premium, but it is essentially a freeze in time for a year now.

On my console I have Silksong, Indiana Jones, Gears of War, Expedition 33. Doom - all disappearing now from my subscription until a year after launch. It's madness! I don't care much for day1 releases, but I care that I have to wait now, for games I already have. It feels like my subscription will now be stagnant. I really hope they release some more recent games on Premium, because if I have to go back to just buying the games I want, I'll cancel gamepass. Honestly, go screw yourself MS!

The loop hole has closed unless you use a new account and a premium VPN to India - I am still okay until next year - I bought my GP Ultimate for R900 for 3 years
