I'm downgrading to Premium for now. Busy playing Rogue Trader that's luckily available on Premium.
 
Hmmm do they still need to update the website or something?

Still shows as R200 per month for Ultimate for me.

Will keep an eye on it.

MS also changed all conversion rates (including the backwards compatible XB Live one) yesterday... so I doubt this will be of much help.
 
Ah, we all knew the price increase would be coming.

Years of arguing on sagamer was fun to see how it all played out.
 
Any local retailers that still have the codes at the old price?
I'm thinking Clicks/Builders and the like
 
I am good until Sept next year. But wow, they really scraped the barrel in terms of trying to spin it like they are adding more value.

Seems like a bit of a self own - R350 a month for a subscription is a bit steep. I wont be doing the "trick" because the appeal doesn't seem so good anymore. Will sub when I want to assuming I can stomach the costs when the time comes.

we paid like R2000 for 3 years before

its now alot of money

and im not playing too many games anymore

only forza horizon 6 maybe

cause even forza motorsport i stopped playing a while back

Back then we "glitched" the system to effectively pay R55-R59 p/m while full price was R119

I was still willing to keep Ultimate for that R119 price. Current R350 is a "Hell no".

Microsoft pulled the same crap with Office.
They auto-upgraded Office 365 from R1499 p/a to R1999 by adding Copilot with no option to remove it. Only once I tried to cancel the sub did they offer the old R1499 plan again.

Predatory is all I can say.
