Xbox Series X / S

I'm about two thirds into Gears Tactics now. Just finished Act 2. The graphics, sound and gameplay are all great. However they added in side quests to lengthen the game which was a big mistake. It makes the game a grind unfortunately. If they left that out it would have been great. But the side quests parts make the game a bit on the boring side.

Do you have to complete the side quests?

Unfortunately yes. To progress the story they will for instance say you have to complete 2 out of 3 side quests. The main story shows innovation and the level designs are interesting. But the mandatory side quests are all basically the same. It's a shame, they really could have left that out.

I have also downloaded it. Also download Day of the Tentacle the other week, good memories there.

Everything was simpler back in the 90s. Don't know if its because I was young, or if it's because everyone and everything is pretty much connected and you can't really escape from anything really.
 
Recently in October MS announced that XB cloud saves will now be free for non Gold customers on XB360. However when I checked my 360 now it still says I require XBL Gold to move old saves to cloud storage. What gives? Anyone else here with a 360 and no Gold who can check?

Want to sell the 360 but first want to move saves over and prefer not to use a USB stick. Also using a new account on XB1 and not in the mood for the lengthy process of setting this account up on the 360...

Series S with much better CPU and improved architecture. Weaker GPU but faster SSD speeds and next gen features.

I think the new architecture the Series S is using already a big factor.

Only saw this now. Series S will be the better one to buy.

Some games coming out won't be supporting the older generation. The Medium is an example of that.

Its not only cpu vs cpu but the architecture as a whole that make up the sum. DDR6 + 128 bit lanes + Velocity Architecture and all that..

Series S > One X

TY for heads up. Also don't forget that RetroArch recently added PS2 as well.

Now I know what my 1 Xbox gonna end up as, when it retires ;)

Edit: Currently have a Raspberry Pi 4 + Recalbox for Emulation..

I tried the screenshot sharing button for the first time yesterday. Works well. The screenshot appeared on my phone and could share it onto most things.

Yes. I am sure they could have squeezed it in and still be making a nice profit. Or even make an option for a 2TB model, I would be happy to pay the extra. 1 TB makes zero sense with these next gen games. It's like building a super car and giving it a tiny gas tank. :D

For an extra ~R3500 to bump it up to 2TB?
Both the Xbox Series and the PS5 has the option for expandable storage, so can get to 2TB, you just have to buy the SSD separately.

Was thinking more like R2k, but yeah you are right.
