Xbox Series X / S

If you don't mind waiting. 2x Xbox Series Controllers are R1200 odd on Amazon. Blue one is a little more expensive.
You will need to use a mail forwarding service as well but even including that, should be cheaper than 2 controllers locally.

For those that bought on nedbank AVO, how does this AVO wallet work?

It doesn't seem to want to straight charge my FNB credit card but (I have been told) I must load my wallet from the credit card. Also, I have been unable to get past the "wallet upgrade" with all the personal questions for loans I don't have (ID theft alert???). Ps. I don't bank with Nedbank

Have you tried their helpline?

I didn't have any issues linking my card to the wallet but I do bank with Nedbank

I thought one had to bank with Nedbank to be able to use Avo .

If not I can kick myself as there was still stock available of the Series S for R4899, and did not try to purchase thinking one has to bank with Nedbank

Seems like a they are trying to bait people into becoming nedbank clients. You can't just buy with your credit card, you have to register and fica for an AVO Wallet (and they send you an sms "we have received a request to open a new nedbank account with you ID number"). But you can use any bank's card and charge/load your AVO wallet, then buy items from the store.

No mention of fees. I'm just stuck getting FICA'ed and get an error saying I have to go to a nedbank branch.

Grrr looks like I won't be able to do 4k120 since my TV only supports 1080p @ 120hz. Guess I'll have to settle for 4k60 then... :(
