I think many poeple would buy it for it's portability alone.

Although the X isn't a big console you'd never fit it into a laptop bag. Or travel backpack. You'd need a hiking backpack for the PS5 ;)

How's the 350GB available storage working out? I normally only have about 4 games max installed at a time.

I have about 16 Games installed. I think only 1 (Forza 4) is on the device rest all on a 1TB USB. I know I have about 274 gig still available on the device itself :D

In options I set the default install location to the USB and Froza was the only game that complained and said it has to be installed internally.

Yeah, any older games will be fine for the external HDD, it's only the XS-optimised games (e.g. Forza, Sea of Thieves, Gears, Ori etc) that won't permit it. Of course that just means the strategy will work less and less going forward, as all games will presumably come optimised from now on.

True,
but seeing that I am about 4 years behind (Skipping PS4/XBone generation), by the time I catch up the External cards will be out and cheaper. Esp looking at 120/240 Gig ones instead of a single 1Tb so I can hot swap and ease into external storage without breaking the bank.
 
In what world was the One S ever R10k, even with a few games?

I see people posting about getting 3 years of game pass ultimate. I currently have game pass on my pc, and pay month to month.

Whats the best and cheapest way to get 3 years of ultimate?

You buy three 12-month gold subscriptions, then sign up for the Game Pass ultimate trial. Apparently you can only do it once, and I think I read somewhere that if you're on GP ultimate already you need to let it expire before trying the above. Your mileage my vary, I haven't tried the above.
 
Guys with the Series S - Does Forza run at 1440P yet?
