Your Favourite Open Source Software?

Free, but not open source (as far as I can tell).

QUCS Studio

This is a circuit simulator that can do high-frequency (RF) type simulations as well.

Qucs is definitely open source so I have added that. According to the the Qucs Studio FAQ it is 'Freely available for Windows but not Open Source' so it's more freeware in that sense. Looks pretty nice though.

Thanks. I've added these under a new Medical and Healthcare category.

I haven't added the Tomography link as is it seems to be a directory of various applications itself. I would add the specific applications (provided they are open source of course) so please do point me in the direction of any that you like or find especially useful and I will certainly add those.

Thanks. This one is more quirky and interesting than it is useful I think but I have added it under Speciality OS/Distros! Quite an unusual find.
You should read up a bit about it. Especially the creator Terry. He was extremely intelligent but didn't get the help he needed. But TempleOS has a pretty big community now doing some crazy stuff with it.

List of 30 circuit simulators. On phone so can't go through them all to check if they are added already.

That's great thanks. I'll go though it and add the open source ones.

Heck, if I have time I might spin up Gnucap for a bit of recreational Fourier analysis
