Guys just report matshelane as a troll. He is clearly trolling and will be dealt with. Just click on the (!) next to "blog this post" on your left and report him. We do not need people like this here.
Btw, just as a response, Mweb has a news server, so saying we should not use it is bs.

Matshelane, upload a pic of your windows and office original boxes for us, or kindly gtfo.

For the sake of clarity and plebs out there I'm assuming the whole of Gauteng would be having a problem?

Evening Payback, that would be correct.

Same NNTP problem as yesterday and the past 3 days - currently can't connect to any news servers? Been like that for most of the day. Is this every going to get sorted out??!!

Dude I'm sitting in the western cape, Montagu is closer to ct than any of the other centres and yet i never appear to get the benifit of the location hahaha, so saying that a gauteng problem affects me says a lot about your routing.
even torrents died now

Im in PE (CPT side) and im now experiencing 0.0kb/s off mweb news. Cannot connect either....

Hi All

Please note that the problem has been resolved, our engineers will be monitoring the network closely over the next hour.

Please also reboot your routers if you are experiencing slow or no data transfer.

Kind regards,
MWEb Guy

rebooted router...etc still getting horrible speeds, oh look its 6kb/s instead of 1kb/s JOY!
love how mweb just kills an accounts speed for no reason, and the fact that we are paying for a such HORRIBLE service.

also instead of increasing speeds, how about make your bloody back-haul handle the CURRENT load before you start upgrading something you clearly CANNOT handle
thus my 1kb/s ON EVERYTHING!
RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGEEEEEEEEEEEEE:mad::mad::mad:
did I mention shaping? oh well, Im being SHAPED to this speed :) not telkom, not my router, not my network. MWEB is happily shaping me to this speed, tested on friends UNshaped 384k account got fullspeed :) so less SHAPING To 1KB/s KTHNX -_-"
