Cell C Whoosh down in Randburg area

Has been down since the 19th April 2011 - four days now. Call centre staff were unaware of this until this afternoon (23th). They kept telling me it was my firewall or a virus on my computer, changed a thousand little things & settings - wasting over four hours of my time! I'm concerned that Cell C's Net Ops and the Call Centre do not appear to be in contact with each other. I took this package last month (March) and am already regretting it - the inconsistent service worries me. I have to admit that when it works it is fast, but it is miserable when it doesn't.

I experienced exactly the same today in Randpark Ridge. Upload seems to be fine, but no download. It seemed to come online for very short periods of time, but essentially unusable.
 
I can confirm this as well. I am in northgate and was at the mall this morning. In the cell c shop they confirmed that randburg has been down since the 19th and nothin g is being done to fix it. My cap is once again being wasted and won't be refunded by this useless company. I have the prepaid black stick, and i am starting to hate cell c more than telkom.
 
Whew! Thought it was just me.

Don't use it all the time, so only noticed from night of 21st April with ZERO throughput (Randpark Ridge)

I've had to use my Vodacom SIM and performance was excellent - quicker than I've even seen from any network at home.

If they had decent pricing, perhaps I'd go back :/
