Moar mesh topology stuff:

Wikipedia said:
Multi-radio mesh
Multi-radio mesh refers to a unique pair of dedicated radios on each end of the link. This means there is a unique frequency used for each wireless hop and thus a dedicated CSMA collision domain. This is a true mesh link where you can achieve maximum performance without bandwidth degradation in the mesh and without adding latency. Thus voice and video applications work just as they would on a wired Ethernet network. In true 802.11 networks, there is no concept of a mesh. There are only APs and Stations. A multi-radio wireless mesh node will dedicate one of the radios to act as a station, and connect to a neighbor node AP radio.

Solid speeds! Glad to know that CW can deliver! :)
You seem to know a lot about CW. I am new to their products after being with TI since forever. Why are there such issues with their international download speeds? Is it only on their fibre products? My DSL seems t be working perfectly.

A reminder again of good the CW network is.

10 Meg line - actual sync speed - 9.1 meg

DL'ing Calibre (65meg) via Vox - ETA - 1.5 hours....:(

Switch to CW - ETA 6m - actual download time, 4 minutes :D

CW FTW!

But will I have actual fibre in my home in Phase 1 or Phase 2?

In reading between the lines, it seems if Phase 1 is the wireless deployment and then only will it be proper FTTH in Phase 2.

Also, when you guys announced the pricing you said is includes data but did not explicitly say if it was uncapped/unshaped (unless I missed it).

Everyone has fibre in phase 2. Not everyone in phase 1 but some will. We are deploying new stuff for that. It is uncapped and unshaped by the way from phase 1.

Next week we will also release details about the tech we are employing for each phase of deployment (except for phase 3 which is mightily confidential at this stage)

I'm willing to bet its some kind of integrated product (similar to what Telkom has given some customers).

Exciting times.

Announcements about new pricing will be released today. :)

Thanks for speeding up the announcements. I think everybody is waiting in anticipation for some good news. :D

The sooner you release the specifics for phase 1 & 2 the sooner everyone will know what to expect and plan accordingly.

As for phase 3, why don't we have details of phase 1&2?

Official Crystal Web ADSL performance feedback thread Part 3...

Why would you guys keep the 100GB home capped as an available option if the 150GB capped is the same price?

Edit. Just seen they have been changed to the same product.
