10 Mbps ADSL upgrades continue

@stormey make sure yor ports filter is working...everytime u receive a phone call your adsl line will drop connection, if there issues with that filter

@heinvt

Yes that is 021 554 im on the Blouberg Heights exchange. Hoping they will actually upgrade that exchange but getting information from Telkom is like trying to squeeze blood from a stone.

We all have to admit the truth some time or the other. The truth is with Telkom is they do not give a damm about us as a consumer or actually improving the network. If they actually cared about the consumer they would have had a spokesperson who would have been checking all these threads and giving us regular answers. All they are worried about is making sure the fat cats who pretend they know what is going on and making sure they get their over-inflated salaries.

Telkom's PR in this regard has been weak.

try the 0800 375 375 Tech Support when asked, during queue waiting, choose option to be called back when first in line :)

Where is Sunninghill & who told you this? They are adding ADSL connections daily in Leeuwkop Road (Chilli Lane) area. :)

Sunninghill as in Naivasha Road near the Sasol in Eglin Road just up the hill from Chilli Lane. And 3 different people from Telkom have told me, including guys at the call centre and whichever network people they put me through to.

The last line of the article states:

To make it easier for ADSL subscribers to know if they are in line for 10 Mbops upgrades Telkom recently launched their DSL 10Mbps Availability Checker.

Should be Mbps, not Mbops.

Darling before Jeffrey's Bay? Yikes. I mean seriously people need to be able to surf here *drumroll*
