So I just got a mail back from Vodacom - their 'deal' is unavailable on a normal contract. So if I want to make use of it I got to run out and go get another 'pre-paid' or 'topup' contract. Crazy world...

Question does this carry over? Or how long does it carry over for? NVM saw it only lasts for 2 months basically.
Noob Alert: I have a Vodacom Prepaid on my one phone (Used for emergencies when Cell C decide to die)
To get this 20 Gig I just have to buy R500 once off or do I need a contract for this?
When does the Data expire, and is this a one time only for December?
ie: Where is the catch?
Nope...no contract...in fact it is specifically aimed at prepaid and top up. So...recharge with R499 airtime and then dial *111# and follow the data bundle purchase options. Remember to select "Advanced" and NOT Standard as the promo will not show up in Standard.
If you buy the bundle now...it will carry over to the last day of Jan 2012
Cool thanx.
Ok so then this is a good thing and clearly for someone like me. Could not have come at a better time as I have to decide in Jan if my Cell C or Vodacom pre-paid is gonna become a contract for that Moto RAZR that my heart so desires.

I've already used up 45% of my 8ta 10GB data. I have a VC prepaid sim card, I will buy airtime worth R550 or something, change that to 20GB data and surf the internet throughout the December holidays. That, my fellow mybb citizens, will be my xmas present![]()
