3G/HSPA/LTE Routers

From the looks of it, it's definitely incompatiblity between the router and the modem.

Now I just need to find someone willing to swop the MF190 for something that:
a. Works with the router I have
b. Can connect at 7.2mbps

Looks like the Huawei E220 will do the trick. It'll make the setup a little bulkier (i.e. Less portable), but that's not the end of the world.

Anyone out there wanna swop? :)
 
Since this weekend's upgrades it is now possible to check your data bundle balance online, see first post for details.
 
Just an update to the list: I contacted Cell C to try and get a Huawei D105 router and I was told that they don't stock them any more, due to a technical fault with the units.

Ooh, wonder what fault that was?
 
I spoke to a lady who said that Huawei needed to do a software update on the routers - apparently the connection string *99# had been left out from the autoconfig so customers were battling. She said they'd be ready for sale again on the 1st of March...
 
Hi,

I am relatively new here.. excuse me if I point something wrong.. but I was wondering why Netgear MBRN3000 is not listed on the first page of the thread.. we do have some great things about this router from HERE1 and HERE2 and more from this same thread...

I was unable to get the Cell-C ZTE MF190 working with a TP-Link MR3220 router either.
 
Hi Guys

I've been overseas so havent been following the forum, I see there are a couple of complaints about the new Cell-C Modem and the TP-Link routers, can you guys please give me a list (model numbers) of the problematic modems so that we can work with TP-Link on sorting these issues out?

If I am not mistaken the difference between MBR 3220 & MBR 3420... MBR 3220 only allows for 3G/Dongle USB modem to be connected and MBR 3420 if not mistaken for DSL and 3G modem(Fail Over)

They both have the fail over feature.

Yes, that's the difference, and the MR3220 has one less antennae.

So the MR3220 is more than enough to use it with a E1820 and iBurst modem in the same house?
