8ta E173 USB - Windows 7 BSOD

Hi Guys

Everytime I try and download a file, the above happens on Windows 7 (32bit ) with the E173 3g modem. I updated the firmware on it, and I think the latest driver is installed 6.0.1.269

I works fine whilst just browsing and streaming - only happens when doing a physical download. The crash is also random, sometimes it will crash after a few seconds, other times after a few minutes.

It must be the modem because downloads works fine on Wifi...

Any Idea where I can get other drivers for the E173 3G USB modem to test ?

Is SP1 needed for W7? Check it out.
Otherwise it might be modem power problems. Use different USB port, on the back of PC (not front). On the laptop chose the port closest to the power cord.
