here to there.
For a while now I have been having random disconnects and have been blaming it on the router being a culprit since there is no outages in the area. I have since then swapped the router and RJ-11 cable which resulted in lower pings and a more stable connection all around. This was great until the connection started dying again. Most of the time the connection dies (PPPOE logging in stage) but the line stays up. Sometimes the router says both line and account is down. I hear a dial tone still when this happens. I have called the ISP a while back and they advised it could be due to loadshedding but they will log it with openserve. I have a openserve ticket open still for months but the connection has been great until now. I am reluctant to call the isp again as I will be using fibre soon, but that soon seems still far as I am about to start working again in a few days. Is there anything I could still troubleshoot? My line stats are below. ISP is axxess 10mbps.

Same problem here. I feed from a satellite off Pietermaritzburg. Where are you?

Hi there,

Please DM me your account details and I will have a look at what's going on.

Hi there,

Send me your details via DM.
Hi thanks for reaching out. I called this morning and one of your consultants has logged a ticket with openserve. Telkom technician has just left says a cable was loose at the pole. Has advised to monitor the connection as he still notices a hum or hiss in the tone.
