I switched back to AH before shutting everything down. Even Tapatalk is now extremely slow.
 
Yeah using a VPN now and it seems to be working. Really ridiculous that we have to resort to these kinda things though :/

Seems to be back up now....
Hopefully we can get an explanation as to what happened....

Wish I could say the same. Everything still borked. Youtube, play store, google search, chrome, mybb android app (to list a few) - all dead.

To be honest, it was working about an hour ago, was streaming youtube just fine, it seems to be down again....So sad :(
 
Tried using my mobile data - same problems. I am with mtn so it seems it is an mtn issue??

Maybe a DNS issue... my TelkomMobile data finished for the month so cant check it myself. Maybe someone can post us the IP addresses for google and gmail (that they can access) and post the IP addresses for us?

But if youtube can't load and gmail says "Oops… the system encountered a problem (#007) - Retrying in 4:50" then surely something must be wrong with the speedtest result, speedtest whitelist, maybe????

I also couldn't load YouTube or the PlayStore last night. Wtf Afrihost really. :wtf:

I also struggle to stream 720p YouTube on the 4Mb business line these days. Is that what I should expect?
