Meh, it has sped up a bit on loading with or without google dns, maybe just a small issue at the exchange.

Scratch that, it's still happening randomly, both local and international sites. I will do a restart and see if it helps.

It's weird, I wait for the chrome website to load and it takes forever but when I do a 2nd google search and open it, it is almost instant. Same with any site that's taking forever.

first...pardon me for trolling...I feel like stirring this week :D

so, with all these endless tests AH reps keeps asking their customers to do, like in above example..."running some tests for youtube"...anyone with an IQ of more than 2 would agree that the ISP would at least provide the data to do all these tests, as some form of compensation. I mean...AH expect their customer to "pay full price", for something that is clearly not performing as it should...and then, to save TONS of money, by not getting in professionals to do these sort of testing, they expect their clients to do all these "tests"...with their own data nogal that they paid for...

I am keeping an eye on the whole AH POC development, as I truly hope you guys get it right. If you do...I "might" even come back as a paying customer.

But...for me to come back as a customer, I need to know your house is in order. So far, 99.9% of EVERYTHING you guys promised...didn't happen. Here and there we see a positive comment, but the majority still has issues. < And they have been promised again and again that the network will be fixed...by yourself as well as AfriMan..."soon"...that's all we here.

Now, some may perceive this as trolling...but, there needs to be a voice, and you will NOT shut me up, even if it means that I go sign up for the smallest option AH has just to make me a paying customer, and gives me a right to an opinion. So far, it seems you guys don't really like any criticism...I don't understand why tho...it is after all your (AH) own fault. You stuff up your own network, then feed empty promises for weeks and weeks.

So tell me again...why am I wrong? Why exactly do I need to "keep quiet"

My post "sorry, working on my attitude...will be better soon", was intended as some dark irony...seeing as you reps have been saying the same line day in day out, week in week out for how long now...

But again, I don't wish to fight with anyone...but I will if one can simply not have an opinion anymore.
 
Reported issues on Friday, changed dns, no improvement, and still no improvement. I pay a lot of money for a service that is not working, or not working anywhere near the speed I used to get, and no matter how many test I send nothing improves. Please provide me with a reference I can send your accounts department to get refunded for this lack of service.

The promises that we've made online are in the works - I think that's pretty obvious by having the POC network setup. It's not an overnight fix.
I'm just not sure what your goal is here? We've got plenty feedback, and happy to take criticism. I don't really think it's necessary for you to commentate on everything though.

Lots of tests/ tweaks had been made over the weekend. Would you be able to paste some test results with that you're seeing?

Well all speed tests show perfect results, but videos don't play, some sites are just slow to open. Browsing in general is sluggish. As per your instructions I changed my router to use the Afrihost dns, which seemed to make things worse. I then tried Google still not much better, changed back to OpenDNS and the results seem better, but everything still seems sluggish. My main problem is Windows Update, as as I am a software developer and need to have the latest version of Windows installed on my system, these speed issues with Windows update are a real concern for me.

MS updates should be in the pipeline for a fix soon. Have you tested with Afrigreen at all?
