Well all speed tests show perfect results, but videos don't play, some sites are just slow to open. Browsing in general is sluggish. As per your instructions I changed my router to use the Afrihost dns, which seemed to make things worse. I then tried Google still not much better, changed back to OpenDNS and the results seem better, but everything still seems sluggish. My main problem is Windows Update, as as I am a software developer and need to have the latest version of Windows installed on my system, these speed issues with Windows update are a real concern for me.
Packet loss is back up to spectacular levels (15%-35% to Amazon EC2, US region), but it looks like 40ms have been knocked off the latency to the uk, which brings the total latency to EC2 down to 232 ms, as good as IS
200 packets transmitted, 132 received, 34% packet loss, time 198996ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 232.284/234.007/258.535/3.894 ms

I really hope the packet loss issues issues can be sorted, I spend all day coding in vim over ssh to a server in the US, so latency and packet loss have a huge impact on me. Having a reliable 230 ms connection would be fantastic
I don't have Afrigreen credentials, happy to test it out if I can get some though

there is no pattern then it works then it don't and is very slow all i know for a fact is it started friday morning
I don't know what you did but you did something that made the packet loss stop for 12~13 minutes:

I recommend doing it again whatever it was.
There was a temporary issue, we saw a massive drop-off in throughput, MTN managed to get everything back to what it should be.
Lol so when there is a drop in throughput the packet loss disappears and the latency is healthy![]()
