Wow REALLY? You don't say???

Where's your network monitoring? Or does that also only work when Afrihost can deny that there are any potential problems...

Yes dude... Your network is DEAD.... Has been since 15:23 already.... -only- 45 minutes to even pick up a issue... That's why we pay you premium fees every month yes... To have CRAP to NO internet AT ALL

No, here's the priceless part. The network status on their website has gone from amber to green.

I see the issue is reported now, but your system seems to also have a time issue, the issue has been reported 1 hour in the future

We've been battling with our website CMS as it has some limitations. We wanted to make sure that the message is clearly visible to clients checking the website for updates.

Over two hours now... no communication, no updates. Again, why am I not surprised

Clearly, Afrihost just doesn't give a fsck anymore.

Afrigreen works, but its so slow its worse that dial up, getting more irritated by the minute, this is costing your client money, promises and oh things will get better is not helping as nothing improves.

Not sure what you are looking at. The website has been updated several times. We've sent out a number of social media updates. Our phone lines should be updated (I admit I haven't checked though). Not to mention updates posted here.

We know it's not ideal. I imagine some clients with alternate AfriGreen credentials are jumping onto that network. Thankfully the cutover to the production network is imminent, so one way or another that will definitely improve.

But we hope to get everything back up shortly.

Oh the irony...

UPDATE 18:00 13 October 2015 Our engineers report that an outage affecting IPC links and the core network has been identified. The team are working to resolve this to bring DSL and Mobile Data services in the region back online.

Clearly, that update has been posted AFTER I complained, and MINUTES before your post.... But yes, sure, you're FREQUENTLY updating us... We just need to BEG for those updates.

Great, so your IPC is fscked again. Same old ****, different day.

The outage was reported internally at 15h35. We updated the website at 3:52pm (same time as social updates went out) but the message had to be re-posted due to problems on the CMS. You're welcome to check the time stamp on the first tweets that went out.

I replied to a post here at 3:37pm saying that we thought something was up. Are you really saying that we only picked this up from your post?
