I'd move to Afrihost in an instant if not for their throttling policy. Mweb has a monopoly on heavy users.

bit the bullet and upped my package to the 10 meg last night. Flies at full speed on my 10 meg line ~ over 1000kb/s

Good to see another shake up in the market.

I would like to know what users experiences are with these new offerings.

Last time i was with afrihost, the shaping/throttling that took place on the uncapped offerings made the line basically useless.

We've changed the products significantly now. If you want to check it out, PM me for the 80% discount link for the first month.

This is great pricing from Afrihost.
Now to see when my 1Mb line gets upgraded, although 1Mb package does suit me at the moment...

/won't tell the kids about the faster line speed - stay on 1Mb Afrihost package for now.

Edit: Well Done Afrihost for not automatically upgrading us, letting the consumer decide if he wants to upgrade.

dont.. i've never got even close to 400k/s on any download (nzb or otherwise). nzbs tend to trickle in at around ~150k/sec on a 4mb uncapped. on mweb they go 403k/sec day and night
Clearly Afriman dislikes you :p, becuase I am on astraweb and I get 420KB/s 24/7 and I do 120-160gb a month.
