Ok, got my credentials.
So do I just plug my WiFi router into the box telkom provided, via the wan port, and enter the username and password under pppoe connection?

Nah, won't be for a very long time. Area is not that well off to be honest. My DSL line is still okay I suppose, so biggie really :)

Gotta make the best with what you've got. :) Hopefully Fibre rolls out sooner than you expect!
 
Good morning guys, @Afrihost I just want to say thank you for your great support team who work throughout the night. Vumatel installed Fibre in my home last night from 17:00 until about 19:00, and then I tried connecting to you guys, but you had a datacentre issue according to support. I logged a ticket and after a few replies everything was sorted and my Fibre was up and running! You guys are awesome, and I will probably never switch to any other isp. Keep it up guys! :)

Whoah , that's super cool! :D Even cooler to hear that Vumatel were so dedicated to install your fibre after hours. You're quite right, our Team was a bit snowed under with a datacentre outage last night, but I'm glad to hear that they still managed to get you connected in between the madness. Our Support Team are definitely legends!

I'm sure you're going to have the best experience ever on your shiny, new fibre connection! :D Keep us in the loop with feedback!

After more then 8weeks being made a idiot by your support team can you give me a conection date for 20 Abelia road kloof durban
You are now in breach of contact for more then 2 weeks
 
Hi Afrihost,

I am not receiving my 50/50 speed what I'm paying for, instead I am getting 20/20 for some reason. I have contacted you guys multiple times regarding this and the issue is still not resolved. Please fix it asap or I'm moving to another isp at the end of the month.
