That's pretty awful. Your ping looks really high for fibre though. Can you please run a traceroute so we can take a look?
Please also let me know which provider you are connecting through.

We haven't seen any of that since you started rolling out fibre and I doubt your ability to provide that. I'll be among the first to congratulate you if that happens somewhere in the near future

Have been toying with the idea of going uncapped from somewhere in June up to end of August , and then switch back to my current 200 Capped with double data. Reason being , I have a heavy streamer in the house until then Not sure whether AH will cope with these changes. Comments from Afri*people* ? For those on uncapped , any issues.. i.e. streaming, etc ?
The alternative would be to go to the next capped package , being 500GB, but with the mess already between rollover, double data, etc... I can only see AH totally screwing that one up..

Yikes, I guess you don't have much faith in us right now when it comes to managing your data - glad you're happy with the network experience
Our Uncapped experience is pretty good. I used Uncapped at home (I used to only use capped, but I switched to Premium Uncapped and I've never had problems. We do some light gaming on Playstation, but we usually have multiple devices running Netflix at once as well - always full HD quality.

Was thinking Home... Premium at my line speed is a bit over R2K, not quite what I intended... what's your threshold on a 200Mb line ? Last thing I need is an uncapped package giving me less for between R400 and R700 more ...

We don't have a published threshold for 200MB published, but we must have on in the rules. It's definitely going to be more that 300GB at least.
Remember that we also don't throttle unless the network is under heavy demand. So even if you pass the threshold, you'll only experience throttling or shaping only when absolutely necessary.

Let me put like this... for the same price of an uncapped Home Fibre with an unknown threshold (somewhere between 300 and 1000) , I can get capped 500GB doubled, without worrying about being shaped or throttled. Unless the thresholds are being upped, where is the value in uncapped ... (which technically it's not, since you limit it

Threshold is 600GB - just confirmed.
The value is in that even if you exceed the threshold, you still get full service when it's not peak and ultimately you could probably move in excess of a TB without incurring additional cost. Many clients are doing serious GBs on Uncapped - and not just on Priority or Premium.
