Please help!! My fibre line/connection went down early Thursday evening - reported the issue with Afrihost and I believe a support ticket was logged with Openserve.

I urgently need my internet up as I use it to do work from home.

I have not up to date received any feedback.

Please if you can provide feedback or speed up support it would be much appreciated.

Are there issues with the network? My line is performing very badly at the moment.
 
Yes, on Openserve and it is still up and down today as well.
 
Reported issues with my fibre being slow and unreliable.
The support guys tried to phone me at 8pm last night :O

Is this normal? Seems a bit late, maybe it's just me.

What is required to get service from Afrihost. My router has been out since 17 October 2018. On 18 October the issue was logged and I was charged for the return fee so that the router could be collected and tested however to date has not been collected, even after numerouse follow ups from my side. I have requested status updates and daily calls and has just ignored. Everybody can just escalate however nothing ever happens. I was informed that my router will be collected with in 1-3 business days and we are now on 7 business days already. So will it take this long to get a the router back once fixed or a replacement issued? So I am paying for a monthly service and collection service that can not even be provided properly. I have implemented an unreliable interim solution as I cannot go without internet.

This doesn't sound good at all. :( You really sholdn't have struggled for so long.

Hell, looks like its that time again !

No internet for 2 days now, no response from Afrihost. Everytime i try get any info out of them with what is happening, im given different excuses every time.

If you are here browsing to see which ISP to use, do not use Afrihost. It has some of the worst latency and general support of any of the ISPS. You have been warned.
