So couriers say I can fetch my device and sim. From when can I use it if I go fetch it?

Or must I wait till Monday for them to deliver?

There are already people that are using theirs, so I assume if you can get hold of it, it will work immediately.

Nope. Only on the 3rd of next month. The people that it's working for are the beta's and the testers.

Once again Afrihost has kept to their word... Just received this email:

Dear ******* **********

Customer Service from Afrihost has requested us to collect an item and deliver it to:

*******************************************************

If this address is incorrect please reply to this e-mail with the correct address.

We will notify you as soon as we have collected the item from Afrihost

This parcel contains a SIM card and therefore requires RICA verification.

Blah blah blah it carries on...

Great to know they are checking address's.

Speed test done. Bit slow at home, but will test on Monday at work where I will be using it mostly.

I don't think so, because I read somewhere that the next payment due would be at beginning of October. I think your only option would then be to buy the R99/GB top-up.

Debit order went through yesterday (23rd Aug), but the device status in clientzone does not reflect "Payment Verified". BUT, it does show that my payment was received under the accounts statement.

In any case, my main concern is that I will not be in the country when delivery takes place. I was going to leave my ID and a monthly bill as proof for RICA, but I now hear that I need to be there in person. (Leaving Monday and due to the nature of my work, not exactly sure when I'll be back... )

Any way for me to collect the device when I return?
