Afrihost Mobile Delivery Feedback Thread

Hm. Courier arrived here ( After I sent Collivery and Afrihost a few different messages to please call me once the delivery guy arrives, because I am a consultant, and the reception does not have me on their system ), and then left because reception doesn't know me. Grr!

He's on his way back, with instructions to please call when he gets here.

Fingers crossed.
 
Well....called MDS...apparently, they tried to deliver yesterday, and there was no one at said building, as per driver's notes...I am in the CBD of Cape Town, in a building that has way too many people for the lifts to efficiently cope with...I am sure, I would have noticed, if the place was deserted yesterday....So alas, we will try tomorrow again...not holding my breath!
 
Got mine just before 17H00 after calling Collivery and confirming. Courier said they are absolutely swamped with deliveries.

Btw, nice branding Afrihost! Thanks for being market leaders!

Still nothing, no sms or anything. Has at least some CPT people receive their items?
 
Thanks Afrihost And AfriAnyone for a great service and support. Went to collect my daughter MiFi at Selby depo, PRE arranged. No sweat all was organized and her parcel was removed from the dispatch batch and held in the office as per my request.


Just food for thought. As per MDS management there was not less than 2000 addresses where they wasted time where they could not get hold of the right responsible person due to either wrong address or address not updated or person not available.

Sad is it not!

Now I feel terrible. Called in again, got an ETA of 18h00, and then asked them if I could get it tomorrow from them. They said okay, so I headed home. 15 minutes later, delivery guy calls me.

Really wish I could have stuck around, now I wasted his time for nothing :(

Anyway, I'll get mine tomorrow morning, woo!
 
Got mine, just after 3pm.
Only testing it now, been a bit busy.
 
Still waiting... this is the third day in a row now, that Collivery's tracking page says "Delivery Courier Dispatched". Is he travelling by donkey? :(

I feel like going to their depot in Epping on Saturday morning and offer my time to help these guys out..... :(



.......until I find my package of course. :twisted:
