Afrihost Mobile Delivery Feedback Thread

Every time I receive an email, my heart skips a beat and then disappointment sets in. I don't even have a Waybill number yet. :( :cry:
 
Sorry, but Afrihost did state very clearly from the start that the devices would be delivered by the 6th Sept. It is not the 6th Sept yet.
I am also still waiting from mine, i also ordered on the 20th and paid on the 22nd. But as they said it will be delivered by the 6th, i am happy to wait until the 6th.

Yip that was the Afrihost deadline.

The issue is that I have had 4 emails from the courier saying that I need to be available at my delivery address because the device has been dispatched and I need to be there for RICA.
I end up changing my plans for the day to accept delivery and then they never pitch up.

If Afrihost are going to stick with these delivery guys I would not recommend this device to any one.

As a Afrihost ADSL customer i'm dis-appointed and leaning towards CANCELLATION - not a word from delivery people....

I think MDS is dropping you Afrihost !!!

Agreed, this is exactly why so many people are pissed off.
Although I did find a good way too make up for the courier wasting my time, for every failed dispatch I cancel 1 of my Afrihost accounts :) by the time this thing gets here, ill be saving money

Not happy that Afrihost got my delivery Address wrong! I specifically changed it to a Johannesburg as I'm here for a week, but now I get an email from MDS saying its going to my Cape Town Address! Whose running this circus!

You can PM me and I can try look for your waybill number so you can follow up.

Apologies for the that. Which address do you use when you signed up? We did send an SMS and email to people who had address problems before the parcels were sent off and asked them to verify or update. Did you receive that mail or the ams?
 
Just got mine delivered now too. Just in time :D

Mine was also delivered by the competitor couriers.

Thanks Afrihost, received as scheduled. Next time maybe don't stress your delivery company out so much.

Did you ever follow up to make sure they got the mail and are aware of your special requirements?

The problem is the lack of information, the fact that the tracking information is worthless.

Funny that it worked twice in a row for me. Maybe it was because I followed up and stayed in touch as well as communicated with the couriers in real time.
