Afrihost Mobile Delivery Feedback Thread

Got another email saying my device is coming today, hope its not like Friday where they said they're coming and they didn't pitch. I understand that they're overloaded but then don't make promises where i have to cancel my days plans and not stick to them. In hindsight i suppose Afrihost should have employed the service of multiple courier agents.

It's a question of the RICA aspect which makes it difficult to use multiple agencies. If we were just delivering devices or routers for example, this would be a much simpler task. But the need to RICA every single SIM, and the logistics of delivering to an individual, rather than whoever is at home or at office reception, makes this a very complex task at times :(

Fair enough, i am sympathetic towards Afrihost and the courier company. It must be a total nightmare to deliver this many devices in such a short time period, hopefully i will get my package today though :).
 
Phones Collivery and was directed to the PTA office. Each time they picked up that I changed my address (added the building name to make it easier) and I got they feeling they thought this was the reason for the delay.... But the guy was friendly enough and said they'd send out another driver today.

Finally got mine.
Delivery driver dispatched notice 6 was the lucky one.

Very good speeds at the office in Epsom Downs.

Is it possible to cancel the mobile service from the client zone and have DOUBLE my money back ?

I already told you my RICA issue via PM.
 
They can't be aiming for Gian's amended deadline. My sister is in Durban and I ordered it for her, and she still has not received any notification of delivery. ClientZone still says handed to courier on 30/08.

We are now 20 days since order was placed ... and a third the way into September.

We're basically just waiting, but some kind of personal feedback would have been better rather than a general message which we know doesn't apply.
 
How do you guys check your status.
In the clinetzone it still says handed to the courier (30/08/2013).

When i go to Collivery's website and enter the waybill number given to me by Afrihost, it says invalid.

I wasn't given a waybill number. But at this point it makes no difference really. Just be patient.
