The order is out for delivery "Monday, August 12, 2024 06:04 JNB Loaded Into Vehicle SCHEDULE:12AUG2024-AM

Well, that does not seem to mean anything. It has been "En-Route" since last week Wednesday morning - it is almost Wednesday again and the SIM is still not delivered. This is really pathetic service!

SIM was delivered yesterday, thanks.

It's such a pity that the SIM fulfillment process is so broken. We were planning to move the whole family over as the current contracts lapse. However, there is no way that we can risk moving our primary numbers over to AirMobile if it takes up to two weeks to have a SIM delivered (and that after 3 escalations). I can just imagine the chaos if someone needs to do a SIM-swap in a hurry...

We apologise for the bad experience; the Warehouse team has addressed the delay with the courier.

Thanks. The problem is that this is not a once-off. The SIM that we ordered in May also took way too long for delivery. It takes almost a week to "prepare" the SIM, then the courier takes much longer than any other service that I use.

Yes thank you. Had to reset my phone and install the e-sim again though because it was keeping the old sim swap number. Seems to be working fine at last though
@Afrigirl as fate would have it, there is an issue with my new phone (non e-sim related) and I need to transfer the e-sim back to my old phone now. Do we need to go through the entire process of a sim swap again and get a new QR code?

Hi.

You can give it a try before requesting a sim swap.

Is there anyone who is still on the legacy AirMobile that receives daily MTN marketing SMSs despite having opted-out from them in the *135# menu?
