I was advised to use Auto DNS by AfriGenie.

I had this problem a little while back, my DNS settings was cited as being the issue.

Leaving your DNS on Automatic is definitely the preferred option, AfriFella was just confirming with you.

What sort of speeds are you getting at the moment?

Yeah, I'm not saying it isn't :D

I'm not at home atm, will be home in a couple of hours.

Are you on Windows?
Also, are you other streaming services affected or are you only seeing a poor experience on Twitch?

I am indeed using Windows.

My main streaming services are Twitch and YouTube. YouTube isn't affected but Twitch is heavily affected.

Not picking up any issues with Twitch itself, but it tends to be problematic across the board. Intermittent at best, regardless of ISP from our testing.

Maybe look at installing Wireshark to see the source IP, we could figure out what's causing the issues from there?

I have got Wireshark installed, never used it before.

What do you need me to do?

Run a data dump :)
You'll need to sift through lots of data, but you should be able to track down a Twitch source IP for the content that you're viewing.

Twitch buffers for me on high quality, but is okay on medium.

Twitch is very fussy... I dont use twitch, i dont really see why people enjoy watching others play, but it does buffer quite a bit.

Switching to youtube, and i get 0 buffering on 720p, so seems at least that issue on my side has been resolved.
So im guessing Twitch just doesnt play nice around our part of the world
