Yeah, had to drive to my folks to re-activate then dead, they are on the Frogfoot backbone. There is a notice on https://www.afrihost.com/status is time wise more or less the same, not sure what High Impact • Afrihost | TT Connect Outage | Gauteng got to do with Afrihost and Frogfoot..

Been speaking with another user on this forum also from KZN since beginning September.
Who is planning on switching to CISP.
If this doesn't actually get resolved.

And what seems to be empty promises for 1 month now?

For the NLD between DBN and JNB to be properly upgraded.

It broke again the 27th of September, 28th of September and 30th of September same issue from 19H00 to 21H00 PM.
3 days in a row now.

From 15 ping to 45 ping? Congested/Capacity constraints still?


Like we said this affects all local gaming to JNB and Cape Town servers.

We getting 45-50 ping to JHB and 70-90 Ping to Cape Town and packet loss because we get routed from KZN to JHB to Cape Town when this NLD breaks its horrible in the evenings.

Meanwhile people in Cape Town or JHB have 5 ping 15 ping to local servers.
This is clearly a disadvantage for KZN users.

Our normal ping to JHB 15 ping and Cape Town 35 ping when ever this congested NLD thing doesn't break in the evenings.

This is very frustrating as you did notify us plenty times that its going to be upgraded.

Net is constantly dropping tonight. Yesterday it was down for 6 hours and today its dropping constantly. WHEN WILL IT END
 
Internet dead again.

Keeping up with the daily trend. Only thing that's changing is a patience.
 
Ok, the JHB DBN thing I guess explains why I've been getting no images appearing in facebook or linkedin feeds the past week or so and super super low local internet then.

Net just died again.

Second time in 30 minutes.

What the **** is going on here.

I want feedback on this.

It's been constant for months. Now this week it's been through the entirety of the day.

It's being shrugged off as a non issue.

I actually cannot ****ing believe we have been reporting this issue with the Ferndale area for months and months.

Naturally as is the case with all service delivery. It's shrugged off. Until it reaches a point of no return.

What do we need to do from our end to get this **** resolved....

I will not tolerate it for another week/month/year.

I'll start submitted invoices to you and vumatel each time it disconnects while I'm trying to work.

1. When is the billing period over? (I want to move services to another account)
2. I have a bug to report. When signing up for 1GB free MTN data (to create an account), it asked to do the usual R1 transaction as it's a new account and then failed at the end. (Account still got created, but I don't think the payment option worked)

I selected the card option. Can provide steps if required.
