Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread Part 2

One of your ethernet ports is negotiating at 100Mbps, unplug and plug in again or swap some cables around to see if that fixes it.
This has happened before and it was not the client's hardware. It was caused by provisioning changes with Vuma. @ThinkCars is the internet still slow?

Trying to decipher if the below if a Frogfoot line issue, or router issue? Any ideas? L2TP VPN between this Mikrotik and another also dies if the duration of outage is long enough

Both TCP Connect & ICMP to 8.8.8.8 dies alongside 1.1.1.1

I had an outage for a few hours, suspect vumatel. Afrihost support was very quick to assist, and very helpful in resolving the issue.
Thank you Afrihost

Ping: 81ms
Download: 0.91Mbps
Upload: 1.1Mbps

Getting poor speeds tonight. Openserve in PE. Anyone else?

Every night between 19h00 and 22h00 my line is none existent......
This is not a joke anymore.....
Paying for 1gbps download and 500mbps upload, and low pings but getting this...
While my neighbour is getting his normal fast speeds on metrofibre and webafrica, and my brother his normal fast speeds with Mweb all going through metrofibre

Support constantly wants to reprovision my line, then it is the same, ticket sent to metrofibre, and metrofibre says the line is 100% fine....
traceroute also shows issue is on Afrihost side, but they keep on reading the script and doesn't want to admit issue is on there side......
I think a change of ISP is in order....

VUMA tech was meant to come, but never showed up and i wasted a day waiting.

It was replaced 3-6 months ago.

I see my parents are currently on a 50mbit package for R699. If i look at the packages available, it shows there is a vuma tactical package 25mbit for R450 a month. If I downgrade them from 50mbit to 25mbit vuma tactical, would there be a downgrade fee or penalty involved?
