Internet randomly disconnects for 5min.

Ping to Cape Town is 40 again from EC, can this please be fixed from MetroFibre, my ping to london is 220 how am I supposed to play on this?

I am sorry to hear that. Have you tried to take down the MTU setting to 1450 on the router?

Currently having an issue where I am getting 2 different IP addresses and it is causing ping spikes etc. Tried out the WhatsApp help and got someone there that does not know what they're doing. @AfriNatic @Afrigirl please whenever your available can you please fix the issue. You did help me before and I think you said it was CGNAT or something like that

We have substantial international capacity available and although we saw quite a large spike in traffic the network remained uncongested. The issue might be packet loss or the device itself.

How long does this take? A request submitted on Monday morning 9am and still not done?
Dealing with the call center and whatsapp line is futile as well.

Okay, now it's completely broken after rebooting the ONT. I'm now no longer getting an IP address from the DHCP server

EDIT: Online again, but latency to the gateway (Afrihost side) is still at avg: ~100ms
