Hi guys having issues with YouTube again really slow speeds for 100/100 line

Both devices connected via cable to router tested on Smart TV and laptop same result

Getting anywhere from 2mb to 220kbps

Stats for nerds:

IP its coming from is 169.1.3.141

Tried different video and different device

Edit: Different issue seems I am going via JHB for things like Netflix ping in fast.com is 16ms I am in durban

Might be IP related as I have had the same IP from last year and was set to Durban now its Johannesburg

YT also started buffering for me which is when I did a ping plot to my usual test EU destination, and then switched over to cloudflare until the issue clears up.

Yes there is some issue with Google in JHB recently again. Traffic is routed to EU mostly France and The Netherlands. We have on network caches

The issue is not related to cache capacity. We are currently only using 1/4 of the available capacity in KZN.

My bad saw the google message afterwards

I picked up loss on the reverse with Liquid Telecom and logged it with the carrier. I don't think we can pull them due to the we going to peak now but I will keep eyes on it and the progress on the ticket and update you.

I've got problems with Disney+. But I realised I have some problems with overseas locations. Afrihost on Openserve.



100 Mbps line. Local is fine. Getting 80 Mpbs to London.

Can you do a trace to the same destination as mine, maybe they use same upload provider (cogneto)? I was getting a lot of loss upstream, but it cleared at around 11pm.

Yes, speeds will automatically be downgraded to the client's standard package from tomorrow.
