Hi.I'm using thunderbird, not outlook. Anyway, same thing happens on iphone.
All I want are the official smtp server, port, encryption and authentication settings for thunderbird and iphone.
I shouldn't have to use web portal to send messages.
Please try the SMTP server, there was a firewall update last night that is what caused it to stop working. It has been fixed now
With what settings? Please try the SMTP server, there was a firewall update last night that is what caused it to stop working. It has been fixed now

I have always not been able to send mail when away from wifi using vodacom. Any smtp server settings for vodacom when on the road?
That's what I've always had, port 25, never worked though. Although, my gut tells me that it did work once upon a time back in the day.Used to be smtp.vodamail.co.za with no authentication.
No, I have my own domain hosted with Afrihost. R39 a month. Domain renewal R97 a year. Less issues as this has dedicated Smtp settings that does not need changing depending on what internet connection I am using at the time. That's what I've always had, port 25, never worked though. Do you have a AH email address?

Yeah, I'm a jack of all trades master of none. All I need is gran/gramps version of email and I'm happy. No, I have my own domain hosted with Afrihost. R39 a month. Domain renewal R97 a year. Signing up domain email you get the domain registration free for the 1st year.
Do this and forward your dslmail to it and update your contacts as you go along.
Hi @AfriNatic - Any updates on this? I am in need to get that static IP back asap.We are still waiting for feedback from Openserve. They have logged a ticket with their vendor Nokia to see why certain L2TP LAC tunnels drop once we convert our realms to the L2TP option.
As for our new BNG's we have a few tickets open with the vendor to iron out some minor bugs and they are working on a release for us.
Currently I'm running my Metro Fibre 1Gbps line on the new BNG on PPPoE to see how it goes. So far been pretty stable even on nat v4 and v6 /56 prefix
Hi.@Afrigirl
Do you have any update for us on the WACS situation as I see cool ideas is providing feedback on the other forums.
