Afrihost - Pure Fibre Feedback Thread Part 2

Is 5.11.13.175 Hu0-0-0-14.LZA-P2-CPT.liquidtelecom.com having issues? it's 100% packetloss for both fibre and LTE. Been having issues to when things go down for 5mins then back up every now and then. Some sites work during that time and some don't. Strange.

Did something change in CPT in the last 24 hours? Everything seems a whole lot snappier even compared to yesterday. Wondering if this was a deliberate change or I'm imagining it.

I was away on the long weekend, and I took UPS that powers ONT & Mikrotik along. Currently have CGNAT IP address. Are you able to allocate a normal public IP for me?
 
@Afrigirl are you guys privy to Openserve's rollout plans beyond what they show on the map?
OS has started in my parents area and I see on the map there is a block near her that is in progress, wondering what the plan for the rest is.
30/30 would be better than Frogfoots current entry level.

Anything going on with the network at the moment? Downloads start really fast then go to a crawl after a while. It happened last night when downloading Oblivion and now when trying to download One UI 7 on the phone.

I am on Openserve 200mbps. When I do speedtest everything seems fine. I did see on the Andriod thread that other people also mentioned slow downloading of One UI 7, so might be a general problem
 
Hi @Afrigirl, without warning or prior notification my Octotel line has been upgraded from a 75mbps line to a 100mbps line and naturally I've been billed more. This doesn't seem right. Also, despite the fact that I see a 55mbps line option on your site for my address, this doesn't exist in Clientzone. What is happening?

Hi.

Please check your spam folder, the notification may have ended up there as we have sent the notice to all Octotel clients regarding the increase.

Octotel has discontinued the 75 Mbps line. The 55mbps is only available for new installation.

They're quick to raise the prices but when it comes to scraping it is an entirely different story:ROFL:
