Anyone else having issues connecting to some discord voice channels and also viewing streams/streaming?

And then i get also get an error code 2007 when trying to stream or watch a stream (screenshare)

It's not just discord, playing games my ping will shoot to 6000 and higher for few seconds then go back down to 20 for couple minutes and then shoot up again. @Afrigirl are you aware of any issue on the backbone ling from CPT to JHB as local speed test and pings seems fine, is just as soon as we go out side of CPT not even international, connecting to AWS in JHB and we have to deel with this kind of ping that makes gaming not possible.

Any update on this? It's been down awhile now. @Afrigirl
 
How long is this going to take? And why is my WhatsApp reporting that Frogfoot / Vox is working fine if this supposedly a big outage? Aad where is the notice I don't see it?
 
Down on Frogfoot in KZN since 13:45.

Got this response from WhatsApp support:
The issue has been marked as resolved however the issue is still on going as there is an issue with the VLAN.

Maybe don't mark the issue as resolved then Afrihost ffs.

I see Afrihost has listed the issue again:

We are aware of connectivity problems in Western Cape affecting Frogfoot clients. Afrihost and Frogfoot engineers are working on resolving the problem as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
 
Quick question - not sure if I missed anything - my FF connection suddenly is connecting via PPPoE and not Dynamic IP anymore?

The team is still in an active troubleshooting session. So far we have determined that our DHCP helper IP on the gateway is blackholed as no discover packets are reaching us.

An emergency change was done to add an additional IP and traffic is starting to restore now.

IPV6 is not affected this is only affecting IPv4.
