As far as I know you can but not multiple pppoe sessions.

Please explain? And no, using a vpn doesn't change the facts...

No VPN required. In fact when I use a VPN it's sower. To max my line I just download torrents directly. It's not blocked or shaped.

Weird. Doesn't matter which torrent, jumps up then a little later shoots down to 1kbps...

Disk IO issue. Incorrect or not sufficient disk cache set. What line speed and are you downloading to a SSD or a NVMe if not then that is your issue. Change your disk cache settings. I have tried a gazillion torrent clients. There is only 2 that work. uTorrent 2.2.1 and qBitorrent.

qBittorrent I have these disk cache settings for maxing my 200Mbps line on ANY torrent that has enough seeds.

Anyone notice speedtest.net detecting your network as Kurlec Wireless instead of Afrihost. Been so for me on multiple devices last 2-3 days.

Each cable provider gets it's own ip range. Openserve shares it range with adsl users and dynamic each time the pppoe session drops new ip starting with 169. I have seen Vumatel getting 165 and 102 ip ranges. Could be one of those ranges were previously owned by them and now Afrihost has them. Just report it to speedtest.net for them to fix.

Hey Nimz,
The migration has been completed. You can submit your line upgrade right now.

Seems like this was just another lie - your support staff confirmed today that the line has still not been migrated.

Line upgrade also still not done due to the above.

3 weeks and counting

Am also on 3 weeks now with line migration incomplete. Support ticket responses say all is done, WhatsApp support says migration still pending. Same company, different answers! o_O At my wits end......@AfriMan

I just noticed that D-Link router provided by AH has a smaller power jack than any other router I've previously used.
I can see this being an issue for me when it comes time to supply power to the router during any future possible load-shedding/power outages. All the mini ups devices that I own and others that I know of, have the standard size power connector.
