right so connected finally, but seems like 80% of the internet is timing out. google sites work just fine but most other websites time out, on reload they sometimes load.

anyone else having issues? I have swapped to AH's dns and it hasn't helped.

That does not seem right. I use Quad9 DNS BTW and it works fine. Try a DNS which is closer to you in CPT right?

I feared it may be a "me" problem.. I have 2 ONT's currently and when I connect to MTN/CISP via PPPoE it's ok, swap over to OpenServe/AH and this **** happens.

I've just reset my Mikrotik and starting from scratch again... AH working fine now.

I did have quite a few custom rules from over the years, I suppose AH didn't like one of them that CISP was ok with.

If I may ask, why do you use quad9? What do they offer?

They are local. They are fast and they block malicious website which is nice.

That's more advanced networking that my modest brain can handle. But glad it's all working well :)

My suspicion is that it's the server. Also says 2 days when I download, but testing from home and my other downloads are going at full speed :(

Thought so, oh well.

Does AH not have a FTP server?

Would be nice if these ISO's were dumped on it.

I don't know if we're legally allowed to do so. We are Microsoft partners, so I can find out.

Please do, also they are EVAL so i dont see why you cant.

Also tell them that their download server sucks and its affecting your clients.

@AfriMan - if I make a package downgrade on Octotel fibre before the end of my free promo period and before the 15th as suggested (ie. today) - will the downgrade be done immediately, or on the 1st? Ie. will I still have the 200mbps package for the rest of the month or will this force me to be on 100mbps immediately in order to beat the billing cycle?
