Mother buffer @AfriMan cannot even stream with out buffering. I am using the CW app and every 2 minutes it buffers. Is there enough capacity

I'm finding the backup cable changes have made the web browseable, but downloads/streaming internationally are still too slow to not use a VPN.

Changed my dns to 1.1.1.1 and 9.9.9.9 which seems to have helped with streaming for now.

Does anyone here use KODI or Real-Debrid and are having trouble streaming?

@AfriMan, streaming video content from RD through Kodi is dead. Please confirm if this is not listed as priority traffic.

Deprioritised traffic wouldn't be dead, just possibly slower than other traffic with higher priority. Can you please run a traceroute to the server so we can see how it's resolving?

We're procuring as much capacity as we can, but the demand is pretty high with so many ISPs in the same boat. For now, we're trying to provide the best possible experience with what we have available.

@AfriMan Twitch is still borked.

The guys are looking at Twitch. Now that we've resolved the general packet loss issues, we're focussing on bring latencies down as low as possible. That should have a positive impact on Twitch performance.

Downloads and torrents have still been pretty decent for me. Considering the situation, I'd say it's pretty good.

Anything specific we could test?

@AfriMan do we get a discount on our packages with the outage for almost a week

I don't think I can make any promises in that area. Ultimately, we're committing siginificant capital to secure the additional bandwidth. If there was a windfall in terms of our suppliers and overall costs, we would definitely consider passing that on to our clients. But at present, our costs are actually significantly higher, so it would be difficult to consider discounts at this stage.
